Cub Scout Activities 2026

Cub Scout Bullseye Bonanza

March 14, June 6, August 22, or September 26

Get ready for an exciting day on the range! Join us for a fun-filled adventure where Cub Scouts will learn safety and master proper techniques for air-powered BB guns, archery, and slingshots. This is the perfect chance for Tigers through Webelos to focus on earning their Rank Specific Shooting Sports awards—an exclusive achievement you can only get at a Council event! Even Lions can join in the fun with archery and slingshots. We offer two separate sessions each day, covering all three activities, so Scouts can attend both sessions or choose between morning and afternoon. Grab your adult partner and aim for fun!

Pinewood Derby- Dates vary by district

Coyote Creek Feb 28
Polaris March 14
Loma Prieta March 22

The Pinewood Derby is a racing event for unpowered, unmanned miniature cars. With the help of adults, Scouts build their own cars from wood, usually from kits containing a block of pine wood, plastic wheels, and metal axles.

Come cheer on the Scouts and see all the hard work they have done to make the fastest and the most stylish cars in the district. Besides winners for time, we will also be judging based on appearance, so get out that graphite and detail that car, we are all going to “Do Our Best” and have a great time in the process.

At the camp, Scouts build real-life superpowers: solving problems, sticking to it even when hard, believing in yourself, and leadership—developed through mentally and physically challenging activities. On the way, they will get rank advancement requirements, special awards, and pride from conquering new challenges.

Just a few days and you’ll see your Scout grow in confidence, make new friends, and discover they are capable of much more than they ever thought. And every hero needs a place to train-this summer Cub Camp is where legends begin!
