his training covers the basics for all Cub Scout, Scouts BSA, or Venturing Leaders! Please bring pen and paper for notes and your Leader handbook. (Scout BSA trainings include an new handbook.)
In person training is a great way to get in-depth information and get your questions answered by our dedicated training staff.

One course can be taken for the day. Open to adults only.
Course cost includes light breakfast, coffee, course materials, and trained patch! For Scouts BSA, a handbook will be provided.
To earn the “Trained” patch, be current with your Youth Protection (taken within 2 year), complete your position specific, and have current Hazardous Weather (taken within 2 years) if you are a direct contact leader. Additionally for Scouts BSA Leaders, you will also need to complete or have completed Outdoor Leader Skills.
