Join us on Friday, February 23rd, 2024 to honor and celebrate the Class of 2023 Eagle Scouts and 2023 Silver Beavers!
We are celebrating the Eagle Scout’s accomplishments with a showcase of their Eagle Projects at the reception, a welcome procession to open the event, and videos of them and their projects during the dinner.
This special event, held at the Villa Ragusa, Campbell, CA, brings together 300+ Scouting volunteers and our most recent Eagle Scouts.
Six outstanding volunteers have been selected to receive the Silver Beaver Award, the highest recognition bestowed by a council for volunteerism in Scouting.
The theme for the Recognition Dinner is Scouting: Recent Past, Present, and Future.
There will be a private reception for all Heritage Society* members prior to the dinner and program.
*Heritage Society was established to recognize individuals that include Scouting in their Estate Planning or make an outright gift to the Endowment Fund of the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council, Boy Scouts of America. For more information, visit here.
Our keynote speaker is Michael B. Surbaugh, the 13th Chief Scout Executive of the Boy Scouts of America (retired). Michael was instrumental in shaping the landscape of Scouting as it is today, leading the charge for a more inclusive and welcoming program for all.
2023 Eagle Scout Showcase
Earning the rank of Eagle Scout is no easy feat. It is one of life’s significant accomplishments only young people of virtue, focus and commitment are able to achieve.
We want showcase your work and give you the recognition you deserve at our 2024 Annual Recognition Dinner. There will be two opportunities to share and feature your Eagle Scout Service Project.
The first of these will be at the in-person Eagle Scout showcase at the main entrance of the event where you can display your project on a trifold presentation board and interact with event attendees who would like to learn about your project.
If you don’t want to be a presenter at the Eagle Scout Showcase, you can upload images of your Eagle Scout Service Project in this form so that we can use them in our digital slide presentation during the event. You can also choose to do both.

6:45PM – Presentation of Eagle Class of 2023
8:00PM – Guest speaker
* Heritage Society private reception begins at 5:00pm.

The Council Annual Recognition Dinner, held each February, celebrates the prior year class of Eagle Scouts and the Silver Beaver Award for outstanding volunteerism at the council level.
