First Time Camper Orientation
Come join us for a day of fun and learning about the basics of camping at the Los Gatos Scout Hut! Participants will learn about all sorts of various skills relating to a successful campout. Know how to setup a camping stove? How about building a campfire or filtering water? No? You’re a perfect candidate to attend the orientation. If you’re an expert come support your friends and help them learn!
Choose to come up for the day OR stay and camp out for the night.
Location: Los Gatos Scout Hut, at 2 New York Avenue, Los Gatos.
When:
Saturday May 20th, 2023
9am-4pm
Camping available Saturday night.
Program Cost: $15 for Saturday; $25 for camping overnight.
Required Items:
Clothing: Layered Clothing appropriate for being in the outdoors, try to avoid cotton and jeans.
Printed documents. WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY AVAILABLE ON-SITE SO PLEASE FILL OUT AND PRINT BEFOREHAND.
Annual Health and Medical Record parts A&B required.
Optional Items/Equipment:
Camping equipment required for those staying overnight.
