2024 Labor Day Family Camp @ CHS

Come spend quality family time together this Labor Day Weekend at Camp Hi-Sierra!

Camp Hi-Sierra is situated in the majestic Stanilaus Forest and surrounded by a rich history born of the logging industry that will transport you and your family back to simpler times. During the weekend you will experience a full camp program with program areas open for your families to enjoy including:

Crafts

Nature

Archery

Rifle

Air-powered BB

Shotgun

Climbing

Scout Skills

Foxfire

Games

Mountain Biking

& More

On top of this, the program will include a campfire, guided hikes and ample time for recreation and relaxation.

The Family Camping opportunities are open to all Scouting families. The programs are varied enough to appeal to all ages and stages, so bring the whole family from siblings to friends to grand parents. Let us take the stress out of planning another event and come experience a weekend full of Scouting fun!

When: Friday, August 30th – Sunday, September 1

Check-in starts at 6 PM Friday, Departure at 5 PM Sunday

Where: Camp Hi-Sierra,  29211 CA-108, Long Barn, CA 95335

Cost: $60: Per Camper, $70 after August 7th

$30 for siblings under the age of 5

Registration Policies

All adults attending Family Camp need to be registered in the BSA except for parents/guardians of Cub Scouts. If additional family members over 18 plan on attending then they must register with the BSA at least 14 days in advance of the event. If you plan to attend with youth Scouts BSA age (11-17) then all adults accompanying them will need to be registered in the BSA.
