2024 District Leadership Conference

The District Leadership Conference is a strategy session for all key district leaders and committee members to develop plans that will help fulfill the vision and mission of the council as defined in the strategic long range plan.

The conference is designed to train the key district leaders in their role for the year.

Specifically, we are inviting:

  • District chair
  • District commissioner
  • Program chair
  • Membership chair
  • Finance chair
  • Activities chair
  • Training chair
  • Advancement chair
  • Camping chair
Our intent is that each participant will leave the conference with a clear understanding of membership, unit, people power, program, and FOS goals; know our roles in Camping, Training, and Advancement objectives; understand our own & our Council Leadership’s vision for our council; understand and utilize the new ‘Monthly Big Rocks and District Backdating Tool’;  and we have grown in understanding how to build and appreciate each other.
