The essential foundation to the Boy Scout program, Cub Scouts offers an outdoor and educational program that allows boys to socialize, work in teams, broaden their educational experience, and understand the value of physical fitness and responsibility.
By joining Cub Scouts, Scouts have taken their first step on the Scouting trail. Cub Scout Recruitment is important – statistics have found that those who stay in Cub Scouts tend to stick with Scouting and display good character traits as they get older.
A year-long effort, Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council has two main recruitment campaigns – Spring and Fall Recruitment. Packs are encouraged to recruit new families during Spring and Fall so they can take part in the Scouting activities.
