Congratulations to our council’s newest Silver Antelope recipient, Rich Brenner! Rich has been a leader in the council for more than 20 years and has served as Council president at two different times. After being Polaris District Commissioner for two years, Rich then became District Chairman for 3 years. In 1995 he joined the Council’s Executive Committee. As a youth, Rich was a Life Scout and Explorer. As an adult volunteer, he has served at every level from Cub Scouts to Western Region. His Scout training includes Wood Badge and District and Council Key 3 at Philmont. He is a James E. West Fellow, member of the 1910 Society and Founder’s Circle at the Platinum level, and Second Century Society Outright Member.
The Silver Antelope Award is the regional-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America and recognizes outstanding service to young people within one of the four regions of the Boy Scouts of America.
