Who Should Attend

  • Required for Wood Badge and NYLT trainers
  • Anyone who wants to communicate ideas better or become a trainer
  • Commissioners — Unit, District, Assistant District, and Roundtable
  • District Trainers for Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Varsity, Venturing and Exploring
  • Pack Trainers (every pack should have one) — This will help get your leaders trained!
  • Council Trainers for Wood Badge, NYLT, HAT, First Aid , University of Scouting/Pow Wow.
  • Youth trainers for Venturing Roundtable, OA, Exploring & camp staff. Must be 16 to attend.

Cost (includes continental breakfast, lunch & handouts):     $15.00 through 1/28/20

$25.00 as of 1/29/2020 and at the door

Pre-course Preparation: Please prepare a 10‐ to 12‐minute presentation on a topic from any BSA material. Your presentation should allow you to demonstrate the skills of a trainer. Consider the use of props, materials, examples, etc. You will receive constructive feedback on your presentation from the other participants.
