Cub Scout Camp

Cub Scouts who are ready for the chance to try real Cub Scout camping can participate in our Cub Scout Resident Camps, held at two of our wonderful camp properties:

Camp Chesebrough Scout Reservation:  Straddling the Santa Cruz-San Mateo county border and nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Camp Chesebrough is is a 544 acre nature retreat.

Camp Pico Blanco: Snuggled in between the Los Padres National Forest and the Ventana Wilderness, Camp Pico Blanco is an ecologically diverse environment containing a number of unique animal and plant specimens.

2014 Dates

June 12-15, 2014: Chesebrough Webelos Resident Camp #1 (overnight)

June 19-22, 2014: Chesebrough Webelos Resident Camp #2 (overnight)

June 16-18, 2014: Chesebrough Cub Resident Camp Tiger – Webelos 2 (overnight)

July 3-July 6, 2014: Pico Blanco Cub Resident Camp

Volunteer Requirements for Adults

  • Cub Adventure Resident Camp: A minimum ratio of 1:2, adult to youth, is required.
  • Webelos Resident Camp: A minimum ratio of 1:4, adult to youth, is required.

Who can Attend?

Cub Scouts that are entering their Wolf and Bear ranks (2nd and 3rd grade) can join us at Chesebrough Scout Reservation for a two night camping trip at Cub Adventure Camp. 

Cub Scouts that are entering their first or second year Webelos rank (4th and 5th grade) can join us for a three night adventure at our Webelos Adventure Camp at Camp Chesebrough.
